President
Emmanuel Agbonomhen Agege, PhD, MPH, HND, PGD, FIMC, serves as the President of BASONEAA. He specializes in Occupational Health and Safety as well as Community Health. An accomplished author, he has published over 30 articles in reputable international journals and is the author of the book Essentials for Optimal Health. As a mental health specialist and dynamic motivational speaker, he has presented at numerous national and international conferences, advocating for health optimization and community well-being.
1st Vice President
Stella Sarah Ogbe, RN, RM, CRNA, BNSC, is the 1st Vice President of BASONEAA, overseeing Nigeria and the rest of Africa. A highly skilled nurse anesthetist, she currently serves with the Delta State Hospital Management Board in Asaba. Stella is married and a proud mother.
2nd Vice President
Beatrice Oniovo-Kukor, RN, BSM, IBCLC, serves as the 2nd Vice President of BASONEAA, overseeing Europe and Asia. With over 27 years of nursing experience, she worked as an Accident & Emergency (A&E) nurse in London until 2010 before earning her degree in Midwifery from City University London (2010-2014). Since 2014, she has been practicing as a midwife in Norway and is an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), specializing in maternal and infant health. Beatrice is passionate about supporting mothers and families through expert care and advocacy.
3rd Vice President
Frank Uche Akpati, PhD, DNP, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, serves as the 3rd Vice President of BASONEAA, overseeing North America, and is the Editor-in-Chief of BASONEAA Vanguard. A professor of nursing at multiple institutions in the United States, he is board-certified in Family Medicine and Psychiatry. With expertise in psychopharmacology, neuroscience, and diagnostic reasoning, his research focuses on how acculturation affects the health of immigrant communities in the U.S.
